I've heard of them for years, but tonight someone rang the bell, with info and (of course) donation sheets. This group does quite a bit and are in their forth decade.

1. Prevent sewage overflows.
2. Eliminate toxic discharges.
3. Ban oil and gas drilling under michigans shorelines
4. Defend enviromental laws.
5. Reduce toxic exposures.
6. Safegaurd drinking water.
7. Promote recycling and waste reduction.
8. Hold lawmakers accountable.

CWA Michigan

Their big thing now is getting violaters to pay for cleanups, not taxpayers. They got my support.
