It was -4 when I left for work this morning...

I also went around my house and wipped off the moisture on all of my new Anderson windows and then turned down my thermostat.. I had way too much humidity in my house for this cold weather...

Yep your right Snowmaker....

I meant to say humidifer and not thermostat...

Forgive me, it's still early and this place has every emergency warning going off right now and my ears are ringing from it and I can't think..... :>)

Well, I just let the dog out and I think I just poked two holes in the front of my shirt.

there's a visual, snowbi! lol! yeah, it's durn cold. i had to turn up the heat last night, then ended up sleeping with no covers on! of course, the cold weather did not keep the cats from sitting and staring at me in the wee hours of the morning until i awoke. little buggers! lol! i swear one time i'm going to go to bed with the camera and i'll snap a pic of them eyeing me til i wake! crazy cats!

As a temp fix, boil a big pot of water on the stove. That will put some humidity in the house.

Actually the device that controls how much your humidifier runs is called a humidistat.
I have mine turned all the way up. I had that dang dry throat for weeks. Nothing on the windows though. Also have a pan of water with a sponge in it in front of the register in my bedroom, to add more moisture.

One of my renters just called, they have frozen pipes. I'm making note to myself "sell houses on crawl spaces". Had the same problem last winter and thought I fixed it. Guess not. It actually happened around the time I went to Key West and Cozumel.
Why couldn't they have waited to call tomorrow while I'm on my way to Puerto Vallarta??? I need to get outta this place!!!
