Went Out Friday, fished from 10 to 5. Ended up with 25 Keepers 7 to 10 inches. We were out about 3/4 of a mile a bit away from everybody else on a small weedy area. We had action all day mostly on minnows. Caught a few on spikes but we found small minnows were the trick. The fish liked bare hooks with a split shot about a foot up the line. Small chart. jigs worked well too. Fish were swimming by our hole all day, every 15 minutes or so. Most of them were good size but were pecking at the bait, not enough to get a hook in a mouth. Probably 60 fish all day. Windy All day, glad we had the shanty.

Good Luck,

Stoney Creek: Was out today for about 3 hours. Fished by the south dam and caught about 10 small perch and about 7 nice size crappie on minnows. Was using white teardrops and also red and black. Some guys i no from another forum have been having luck on tip ups for pike by the dam also. I like fishing in the evening for crappie by the north dam or in Winter cove. Also between the beaches .
