To all of you Ice fishermen and women, do be careful at cotton road in chesterfield, sorry to say that is where i live and on the weekends it gets really crazy down here, make sure you park only where you are suppose to or you will come back to a ticket or no car at all(towed by police)It is the few who ruined it for the many. Do respect our neighborhood and yards. its not the one or two who pull their sleads accross your lawn its the 50 before you and the 100 after you that do the damage. The fishing has been hit and miss, mostly they are getting them on mouseys and wigglers. if ya plan a visit and i have room leave a message here and i will get back to you so you may park in my drive way. but i get 50% of the fish LOL, happy fishing all and stay safe!

Yes I never fully understood it until I lived on the lake in the mid 90's. Had people parking everywhere in the winter....

Folks remember that Cotton Rd. is not an access with parking. It is an access to the water from the land and that is it. Please respect the laws and more importantly the people who live there. If they get mad enough I am sure they could get that little "gateway" to the lake closed down.

You can't park in the field on the Northwest corner of Jefferson and Cotton Road. You could try but the police are watching. Th police put up signs not to park there. I drove by last Saturday and there was a police car sitting there waiting for violators. It looked like he was preventing people from parking in the party store parking lot also. I have been looking for another legal place to park in that area but I have not had any success.
