I coach a youth hockey team that is made up with 18 kids - all 14 years old. Last night, I was made aware that one of our kids has isolated instances of "rapid heart beat". It kind of scared me for a minute when he said he needed to sit down because his heart was beating fast and he didn't want to pass out.

What I'm wondering is if anyone knows a person or an organization that we could "hire" to come in (or we could go there) and they could teach CPR to our whole team. The group would be the 18 kids and then 5 coaches. Heck - one of them may end up saving my life one day!

If you know of anyone I could contact......I'd appreciate an email.

Thanks!

Wow - thank you for all the help everyone. I expected finding someone to help us with this was going to me more difficult than it ended up being.

A few minutes after I posted this yesterday, I sent a note to the parents on the team. Turns out someone on the team has a family member that does this. We contacted them and have made arrangements. So.........we're all set.

Thanks!!
