Things are little slow on here, so I'll post a trip from the Detroit River I did last summer.
Detroit River fishing video summer of 2022. You never know what you're going to catch on the Detroit River. This particular day was a great multi species day on the river. There aren't too many fisheries that hold the number of fish that the Detroit River does. Sometimes it's just a matter of getting on the right area. I ended up going to Kent Lake in Milford Michigan. Water level was still drawn down about 3 feet which made launching the boat tricky. The bite was tough. We caught 10 bass, 3 pike, 1 crappie, and 1 pumpkin seed sunfish. Most everything came in 8 to 13 feet of water. Water temperature when we started was 39 and warmed to 42 by the time we left. We got caught in one brief shower when we were loading the boat up to leave.
