Hello there everyone this is Cory again with this weeks fishing report. Everything is fine here except for fishing. It has been very slow here due to weather and conditions on Lake St. Clair.
The water is very turbid and murky. The only area of decent fishing right now is on the North Channel of the St. Clair River. Here boats are going for salmon and walleye mainly. The depths for walleye are running from 30-45 feet right on the bottom. Both trolling with crankbaits and jigging are working for what has been caught. Location is East of Deckers landing and straight off of Deckers in the North Channel. For salmon the depths are 40-60 feet. Most boats are catching them about 3/4 of the way down. All are trolling.
Additional fishing is in the Sni Bora off of the North Channel for Northern Pike. Here boats are using husky jerks in about 4-5 feet of water. Casting has been the preferred method. Hopefully this helps and take care. Cory
