Hey there everyone this is Cory again with this weeks fishing report. Hope it helps. Fishing is picking up just a little bit and the conditions are following.
Yellow perch are being caught out from the end of 23 Mile Rd. and 22 Mile Rd in Anchor Bay. Boats are fishing with slip bobbers and perch rigs while still fishing. Minnows are the bait and water depths are ranging from 3-6 feet.
Walleye are starting to pick up a little bit in the North Channel of the St. Clair River. Boats are drifting with jigs and trolling off of the bottom in 40-60 feet of water with Rapala's. Some bottom bouncers are also being used.
Northern pike are still being caught in about 4-6 feet of water near the weed lines of the wetlands. Husky jerks are being used here.
The salmon off of deckers are being marked, but it is still hit and miss.
The conditions around the lake are improving and becoming not as turbid. Good luck to everyone. Supposed to be really decent weather this coming weekend. Good Luck, Cory
