ok so this is the first time i really got do fish LSC for anything other than bass... so I got a question (yes i expect to get picked on some) does it really matter what time of day I targer different species of fish?

No it doesn't matter. There are some species that you have a better chance of catching more of if you're out there at the crack of dawn or at sunset but you always have a chance at catching fish no matter the time of day or night. The best time to fish is whenever you can.

yes it does!!! well, which species are you asking about?

lookin for BIG perch maybe some eyes if I can talk the wifey into letting get some new gear. lol

i was out thursday for 11 hours, didnt land anything but a goby for the first 8 hours or so, decided to stay for the evening and ended with 18 perch in 3 hours, atleast i got some fish in the boat. that was a long day, today was out at 6 am, left with 20 keepers in 4 hours.

the daytime hasnt been so good for me, its either early or late. gl

the same thing JUST happened to me on a local lake here in brighton. took the wife and three kids out. didn see any thing I want to admit hooking untill an hour before we had to head in. just made me wonder.

Sometimes its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission...LOL
Try out by the St. Clair light at the edge og the channel.
