I guess you can't knock any safety feature that will help. I have no place to mount it on my Go-fast.
Engine Fire Spotter
Flipping through April's issue of Boating Life, I came across a write up about a product called "Fire Port". Its a small, sealed clear window that you install over your carb's on your engine covers. If you suspect a fire you look through the window verses opening the hatch and feeding the fire O2. You can break the seal with the noozle of your extinguisher and put out the fire.
Anyone have one of these? Doesnt seem to bad for $7.75.
