j/k It may be behind the intake manifold screwed into the top of the block. Keep in mind you may have one sender for the pressure gage and one sender for the alarm. Sorry I don't know for sure.

I agree with Hammer. That is the most common place on a small block chevy. On occasion thay will be on the side of the block just above the oil filter, But that is more common with Big Block chevys.

I recommend buying a Chilton's manual. Even if all you do is little maintenance, get the manual for your engine. Very helpful.

you can also buy the mercurymarine manual for you engine online. i believe it is 34.95.
