Just a heads up to anyone heading down to the Lower Detroit River/Erie. Was there last night for a few hours and the water was heavily stained. The conditions were poor all the way from the Celeron Island down to the power plant, both shallow and deep. I would assume the Trenton Channel on up the conditions are same.

Looks like all the rain has stirred up that system.

The water level is decent at Metro. You should have no problems with any walleye or fishing boat. Water clarity is as reported though.

Fish, it could clear by this weekend. We have some stable weather forecasted for the next few days. But I was surprised the conditions were still as bad as they were and how extensive it was. You could not avoid it.
