I launched my 25ft SeaRay there about 3 weeks ago and had no problem at all. I was reading 2.5' to 3.5' all through there. Are you sure you disconnected your trailer?

Launched yesterday late in the day. Got readings from 2.4 to 2.7. Saw a big cat come in and he was churning up the bottom about halfway into the markers. Just took it slow and had no problems - motor all the way down. Entrance to the Salt was down about 6 - 8 inches. Slow and stayed in the middle. No problems.

In and out twice this weekend without any problem, i just make it a habit to trim up all the time until out into the lake. Ramps are good, probably the best around, about 5' at the end of the docks.

I don't know what you're launching, but with the accounts of people having to trim up to get into the lake, why not just drive the extra few miles to the Clinton River launch? It gives you deep water access through the channel. I know a guy who had troubles getting into his canal two years ago and the repeated idleing with the drive in the trailer position trashed his u-joints.

I didn't think of that. i think I'll use the Clinton River one as well.

I used to be on Selfridge until all the turmoil. They tossed us out so I was launching at the DNR there. It was OK, but now I wonder.
