Fished from 8:30 - 11am, 3/4 - 1.5 miles out in 5.5 - 7 fow.
Ice is still 12" or more. Caught about 40 perch, kept 14 7.5" - 8.5". Saw bigger fish in the hole but couldn't get them to bite anything.Tried minnows on teardrops and plain hooks, Ken's Spoons with red beads, small teardrops tipped with mousies. Results: 1 perch on minnows; the rest came on the teardrops with mousies.
Talked to one guy on the way in who had 20, 5 between 9" and 11", the rest were the same size I kept.
With a little luck we may be able to get out one more weekend.

limited out by brandenburg within 3 hours .. caught about 70 fish to get my 50 limit of keepers... 9-12" try a glow in the dark with green dots.. you can either leave it plain or put a waxworm on it..
when i use minnows i seem to get the pike smacking my lure.. caught a 32' northern on 4# test!

Went to fairhaven this AM.......Tons of dinks, didn't even see a decent fish in the hole. Moved quite a bit...In shallow, out to the pack and back in again.. Ice is still OK, albeit getting a little sloppy. Water is also starting to get murky as well.
