The lower Detroit River results from Saturday and Sunday, as well as the year to date standings are now available on the Federations website.

Wixom Lake was also announced as the Classic lake.

I do not know who does the Tournament Results page on the Federation's web site but personally I find it hard to read due to the colors used. It has a gray background with dark letters. Do others find it difficult to read and view also?

I do too, and I have heard from Bernadette that the software they are currently using is not reliable enough and they (Greater North Tournaments) are looking into new software for 2004.

I'm able to read the results just fine. The grey backround color is rather light on my computer screen.

I guess the real problem is that nobody has looked that hard at the program to see about changing the background color. It is pretty light on my computer as well.

The only problem that I know of this year with the software was Saturday it didn't add the results into the yearly totals. Not sure why, could have been that the tournament was included in the 'series' or a glitch in the software.

At the end Sunday, the year to date totals were double checked as there were some interesting changes, but they were all correct.

The software that is being used is a commercial package. There is most likely a newer version that would certain tasks easier.

We finished 8th on Saturday woth 17.00 pounds (first out of the money) and 5th on Sunday with 14.7 pounds and a $354.00 check.

Doug Hedberg does a great job for the federation and the website is only one of the things that he does. He is also the State Championship Chairman AND the Treasurer for the MCBF.

Too much abuse......there were "people" posting porn links and "others" making derogatory remarks about members.

That is why I police the fishing board so tightly.

The Federation's website is being totally redone. A person offered up his company to take it over at the last board meeting. I spoke with him at the Det. River tournament and they are about ready to go. I will also be the first to say that it needs to be brought up to modern standards, but I only know enough to be dangerous.
