Does anyone know if and when Belle Mare is doing theirs fireworks?

Or any fireworks to see from the water this weekend?

Also it was nice to meet alot of you at Jobbie Nooner, nice to finally put a face to the names............... at least some of the faces! Just kidding!

Belle Maer Sunday night!

Last I heard we are doing a huge raft-up in front of MacRays all afternoon & evening to make sure we get a good spot!

Where are their fireworks typically launched from? The water or land? Is there a boat safety zone? Where would the best place be to watch them? Thanks.

Mt. Clemens and Algonac are from land, but Belle Maer is from a huge barge out in front.

Never been to Mt. Clemens fireworks, but usually (at least last 12 years or so) Algonac has launched from a barge(s). Even had to wait last year for the barge to pass us before the Coasties would allow us to move. Usually keep it hidden around the bend from Harsen's Island ferry.

Not going to Algonac's this year, but will be at MacRays/Belle Mars on sunday. Here they are just as good as Algonac's. Fireworks usually start around dusk or slightly after.

Barge for MacRays/Belle Mar is usually set up (at least it was last year) between the two marina's. Just east of the channel going into MacRay's and a bit out to the bay.

I heard Drew & Mike talking about it this morning. As soon as I got to my office I went to TheSmokingGun.com and read the article. The police report is fairly descriptive. I cannot believe that people are just that stupid!........... Ok let me see........ I am a 14 year old boy who would would do anything that moves, let alone a very attractive 23 year old teacher! Am I going to tell anyone. HELL YEAH everyone that would listen. First off what was she thinking. Secondly did she really think that no one would find out! The news down their claims that she could get as much as 30 years for that! Not to mention the fact that she just got married 11 months ago!
