Kind of reminds me of my youth....One time I was riding my bike, fishing rod in hand, down to the lake early one morning. As I approached a street light, I thought it would be cool to ride through the 6" deep of fish flies that lay beneath. Much to my dismay, I soon lost control of my bike. I fell off and slid through them face first. At that point I was so demoralized, I think I just went home.

There's something pretty funny about a Canadian sliding face first through 6 inches (wait - shouldn't that be 15 centimeters?) of fishflys.

I thought you were going to talk about your poor days when you only had government cheese and crackers to eat and you put fishflys on the crackers for more protein!!!
