After getting pounded by the morning thunderstorm, I managed to land a few small Rock Bass and some very small perch near the channel markers (around 9:30am) at the Clinton River Mouth, but that was it (just a hook and bobber set-up). Yesterday was a'bit windy and choppy out there. Later in the day I tried moving to some of the shallows just south of the public access near Beacon cove, but the water was still very murky and stirred up, so I called it a day. I did get some good tips for drifting a crawler harness, which I plan to try Monday morning. Thanks for the tips and good luck fishing!
