a) Lake was discovered in 1670's so 1679?

Average Depth i 10-12 feet so i'll go with 10

c) retention rate is probably 7-9 days, Ill go with 9

d) French explorers discovered the lake, and as far as i know,
st clair is the original name... Perhaps, Lac Sainte Claire is it, sounds french enough for me....
