South Lake St. Clair:
There is a little shore fishing going on at the Metro Beach site. Success has been sporadic with mostly small perch being caught. Weather has been a problem.

Detroit River:
We are seeing good catches of walleye at the Detroit Edison Power plant near Elizabeth Park in Trenton. Anglers can access this area from the ramps at Lake Erie Metro, Elizabeth Park, Wyandotte and Ecorse. Other resident ramps are available in Trenton and Riverview. Water temps are in the low forties in most of the river but the power plant has a warm water discharge. Female fish are mostly still in the spawning mode with only a few fish actually spent. Fish are running in the 3-4 pound range.
