Fished Sun. (2/1), 7:30 - 11:30, 1/2 to 3/4 mile straight out from DNR access site just north of the Spillway, 9 fow. Kept 15 perch, 9" - 11". 5 came on minnows on a white/pink teardrop, the rest came on a white/pink Ken's Spoon with a red bead.
Went back this morning (Mon. 2/2), 8:30 - noon. Kept 4, 3 were 9" and 1 was 12". All came on a black/chartreause Ken's Spoon with a chartreause bead.
What a difference a day makes.

Finally got off my lazy butt. Of course with a little incentive from a couple of buddy's to play hooky from work. Tuesday feb. 03, met up with them about a mile out in the SLUSH, off that New DNR launch in Harrison Twp. NICE
We may not have limited, and the wind ah howlin' abit. A fun time was had, for the fish God's were generous today. As for the folks parking on the ice, y'all sure are *real* brave

Continue to play safe ya'll, The deep freeze is still upon us

Nice job Ice! I am gonna head out to Metro again this weekend and maybe Selfridge. I'll let everyone know how we do.

A guy I know just caught a steelhead through the ice over by Metro. Wouldn't that be a trip on a perch pole.

See ya on the ice!
