Hello there everyone, this is Cory Kovacs from the Lake St. Clair creel route with this weeks fishing report.

Fishing has been slow, but the weather has been beautiful so hopefully everyone is having some fun. Walleye are still between Gino's and Metro Beach in depths from 6-12 feet. Boats are trolling and drifting with crawler harnesses and crankbaits. Harnesses used are colored chartuese, gold, and bright orange. Crankbaits used include Rapala countdowns and shallow runners. Colors of the crankbaits vary so take your pick. Reports of yellow perch have been good with a few boats catching their limits around Metro Beach and the 400 Club.

Further down the lakeby the mile roads walleye have been picked up by trolling and drifting also. Many of the boats are trolling with crawler harnesses and drifting with them also. Much of the walleye being caught are in 6 to 10 feet. Some northern pike are beginning to be caught on deep running lures in 12 to 15 feet of water just south of Memorial Park. Muskie reports are limited to one boat catching 3 over 25 pounds down by grosse pointe. These were caught trolling.
Hopefully this helps. Everyone good luck and have some fun.
See ya, Cory
