I got to the channel about 6:00PM and hooked up in the first 2 mins. I had a limit by 8:30. Plus a bonus 46 inch Muckie that hit at the end of the trip. He had my lucky purple holigraphic harness in his mouth that I wanted back. Most of my waleyes were taken on that harness with purple beads. Noise from the barge didn't seem to be bothering the fish!

THANX for the report got to get out there and drag some harnesses around. Been seeing more and more posts catching the wallys. My 8 year old son wants to catch and eat his first one. Thinking of trying friday evening or Saturday afternoon. Have heard that purple has been a hot color lately also....................

Did your musky have my hook and minnow in its mouth. I lost one in that area about that size while fishing for perch. It got about two feet of air and then had it up to the boat for a second then bye bye. Great day weather wise for a change. I didn't have much other luck.
If we don't head to Erieu, we'll be on the lake in the morning. Call me if you are going out there Ken.
