Finally got Barb into her first Musky!

Trolled out to Brunner Island from Selfridge without a taker. First 30-45 minutes were doing about 3.5, no fish. Second 45-60 minutes, 4mph no fish. Trolling in "S" pattern, along weed lines, on drop off edges nothing. Heading toward Clinton River point, doing 4mph I was reeling in to check weeds and BAM! First small Ski on a perch super shad rap! Ok now I now I gotta move quicker. Kicked it up to 4.7 and got 3 rods in the water, started on the fourth rod and BAM! Second small Ski' on a firetiger super shad rap. Got that one in the boat and BAM! Third small Ski on a perchy rapala thing from Angler's Point. Those 3 fish all came in 15 minutes! If you go out crank up the speed. Might try again tonight as shes hooked now.

All fish 40 feet back, 2 in the propwash, 1 on outrod. 11 FOW. All 3 fish looked like this one +/- a couple inches.

What is Brunner Island? I've never seen that on my charts.

It isn't official. Its Grass Island off the north channel. Takes to many people and alot of time to change everything associated with maps, tom tom, gps, etc...alot of folks on here call it Brunner Island...MuskyBob's Island!
