While trolling for muskies this week I saw a tree stump in front of g.p.y.c. in about 15 ft of water, it was floating about 3-5 inches below the surface and would surface thru a wave about every third wave or so, it was about three foot in diameter and about 3 or 4 ft long. I tried to pull it out of the water, but I was alone and it was too heavy!!
There is still a lot of logs floating in the lake too!
(Big ones)
Oh yea, after being skunked wed & thurs, we went 1 for 1 last night (38 inches long), 15 ft of water in front of
11 mile on a masons muskie killer.
I am on the way back out there now, be safe!

As reported earlier there are alot of logs just south of Beacons Cove (around the launch ramp) and about as far out as their gas dock goes. They were just a few inches of it above water, but the logs were 5-8 inch in diameter. One made it back on shore, but the rest are too big.

Speaking of Beacon Cove, there is a large log, looks like half a tree almost straight out from the marine launch, about 500 yards. Doesn't break the surface. Tried to tow it, but it was way too big. I let the marina know, with the all the large boats, it won't take long before someone looses a prop.
