I'm camping on the Foote Dam Pond this weekend. Has any fished it? We have fished there in the past with very little success so any suggestions would be helpful.
foote pond up in the Oscoda area? I've fished it a few times, look for good points, and drop offs, and try finding areas that are different, cause timber and weeds are everywhere.
Fished it many times, but it has been many years since I was there. We used to fish the weed beds in the morning and troll for pike by noon. there is a corner with a water fall that used to be acessable by lake, kinda cool spot. it had a stairway that went all the way up the bank. I wish I had somthing on a chart so I could show you. good luck.
try fishing above dam near the high sand bank`s across from the campground, also the dam store can provide you with a river channel map. if you want to take a ride glennie has some excellent fishing, watch out for stump`s
