As this Is my second season of seriously casting for muskys I thought I would do some reading on the subject so I went to the library and found a book called Musky Mastery the techniques of top guides by Steve Heiting. It covers a lot of basic techniques for fishing for musky like fly fishing, jigs, surface baits, jerkbaits, bucktails, trolling, night fishing, vertical jigging, and crankbaits. I features interviews with some of the top musky guides such as Pete Maina, Joe Bucher, Dick Moore, and others. It's a great book that teaches you the basics for catching muskys and tactics used by the guides featured in the book. I found the book at Sterling Heights Library. For anyone intrested I will be returning it Monday.
