Was out at Genos today from 6a.m. until 5:00 and had a GREAT day about 100 yards out to the right of where Genos is. Between my cousin and I we caught about 40-50 perch and Pumpkin Seed Blue Gill. The fish that weren't intrested that were good size we speared. Spearing is the way to go!!! Didn't have to spear any of the perch because they all were hittin pretty good. Highlight of the day was the 4 foot muskie! Hopefully someone can get lucky with him on a tip up because he was nice size!! The bait we were using was minnow, red eggs, and waxys. Minnows worked great in the morning. In the evening they were hitting more on the waxys and eggs. Goodluck everyone!

The pumpkiseed have really been plentiful and large this year. Makes for a nice mix of fish for the fryer. Nice report.
