Girls Names

I posted a while back that we were having trouble coming up with girls names. We have narrowed the list down to two names.
Lauren Elizabeth
Delaney Elizabeth

We are letting our 2 year old son make the final decision, but he keeps changing his mind. One day it's Wauren, the second it's Waney!

I have combined the two, and now call the baby DeLorean

Just thought I would update those who responded.

they're both pretty!
I like them both too...I guess it depends on what your last name is, because Delany Elizabeth is 7 syllables, so if you have a long complicated last name, maybe the Lauren Elizabeth would work better....My name is Elizabeth, so I just think both are great!

Wow, I feel so special you three

Yeah, it's a great name - if I were to become crazy and have another child; this time a daughter....
I would name her:
Alana Elizabeth....kinda like mine, anyway.

Partial to the Lauren!
Not cause my name is Laurie?!?

Neither name is common ......I'm used to being the only Laurie everywhere I go, now and then I'll run into someone w/my name but not very often. My hubby on the other hand - every other guy is named Dave!!

Good luck deciding.......both very nice names!!!

Thanks Mrs. Wetbar, maybe we are going unusual because my name is also Dave, and my wife's name is Jen!
delaney sounds more like a last name to me.

ie Dana Delaney and my childhood dentist...Dr Delaney

just my .02

plus everybody would probably call her 'laney
Darn quote isn't working properly!! <_<

And what's wrong with Laney????????

I know a certain LSCN member that goes by that name, and she is quite wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!
