I like Oakland and Cass. Lakeville, Pontiac, and Orchard are OK too. Does Macaday have a big enough ramp/parking area? And Squaw has the low bridge you have to go under to access most of the fishable water. I don't know if the bigger glass boats will make it. Marke and I had trouble getting under there last year in his 18' tin rig.

Is Orion totally out of the picture, or is once a month more reasonable for that body of water?

How about Stoney Creek and White Lake? Anyone willing to drive uo to Lake Nepessing?

Maceday only has 14 parking spots- maybe not your best choice.

Hey Barry,

1,2,3 & 4 sound good.

As far as squaw lake goes, not only is that bridge low but the water is shallow too. I destroyed a prop last spring. The larger glass boats won't make it.

Does anyone know anything about Union Lake near Cass? I've never been there but it looks pretty big on a map.

Union lake is fairly big, not sure on the acreage. It's a tough traffic area though the ramp and parking lot are across a busy street launching at rush hour would be tough.

Union is over run with Jet Fleas Marke,....use to fish it regularly years ago in a club,...got tired of the idiots real quick!!! NADA on union!!!

Had club tournament on Squaw last year and 20' Skeeter, Ranger and Stratas made it through the short culvert to the back lakes. Could not run motor had to hand over hand under the road.

Union Lake is a pretty good size lake (how many boats are you talking?)And like mexque said it is pretty dangerous trying to get across the road(union lake rd.)the lake is a toughie to fish too(at least for me it was)You would think they would have a traffic light there.
