ok i'm heading out tomorrow morning again i'm in a canoe so can't go out that far ( i'm old) anyone got any ideas i could try and i'll let you know what happened when i get back

now that the waters back up st johns marsh may be worth a try used to get alot of lg mouths back in the marsh its sheltered great for small boat/canoe

i had no problem with the water and a small boat today and got 2 nice blue gills and could use 10 more and 1 perch that was smaller then i would have kept but gut hooked it so it has been cleaned and in the freezer waiting for more. i'm just now starting to learn how to use a slip bobber so it's slow. and i don't know where the st. johns marsh is, but thanks for the help. my aunt has had 3 stokes so for and said she would love some gills so i'm trying to get them for her................... ok i'd love to have some myself she's a great cook.

It's on M-29 (AKA 23 Mile/Dixie Hwy/**** Rd), east side of Anchor Bay. I'm not exacty sure what city it's in either Fairhaven or Clay Twp. It will be on the left side of the road, just look for the water along the road. There's a spot or 2 to launch/park, just look for the sign. It's about 13 miles after you get off of I-94.

i'm still not sure where stoney creek is but i'm sure i can find it on the web. is anchor bay going to be ok for a small boat. well where i'm going out of metro is also shallow like anchor bay so it should be fine. i'm just trrying to get use to 1 area at a time and on this like thats going to take a long time, but with you guys it's going to help lot thanks for the help 'll be at metro in the morning giving it my best but having a good time doing it
