I don't know when I've enjoyed reading a book so much. I've actually slowed down, so I can make it last longer.

I'm talking about Fishing Michigan, by Eric Sharp, the Free Press outdoor columnist. It's not a brand new book (published in 2002), but it's fantastic. Great insight, tips, and facts. But the wry humor and the fisherman's perspective are marvelous. If you're looking for a good read at night when you can't get out on the boat, you won't be disappointed by this book.

That's awesome...where did you buy it? Is it in local book stores?

I just finished reading "First Light on the Water" by Ron and Al Lindner, and although it was short, it was a decent, enjoyable read.

I bought it at Barnes and Noble in Royal Oak, but I think I saw it at Borders, too. Also, I think you can buy it through the Free Press online bookstore (they publish it). The book is truly a great read.
