I stopped in at Anglers Point on Thursday afternoon to pick up some worms for the weekend fishing trip. It is a very nice store with a helpful staff. After picking up a couple of Musky lures and some worms I headed up to Alpena with the family.
My daughter Rachel and son Noah had a blast on the family pond. It was non stop action with a Bluegill or Perch on almost every cast. They landed Perch up to 13" and the largest Bluegill was just under 11".
I just wanted to share the pictures with my friends here on LSCN. It was a great weekend just watching the kids pull in fish after fish. All there fish were caught on worms.

Those are trophy sized gills.

To me large gills are one of the most fun fish to target.

Im still waiting for my first 10-11" gill for mounting lol!
