QUOTE(Girlie @ Feb 2 2004, 08:30 PM)QUOTE(WETBAR @ Feb 2 2004, 08:25 PM) I hope you like that Bally's Girlie!! It gets really busy around 4pm until later in the night. Friday nights and weekends aren't that bad. You'll probably have to go a few time to figure out what time is less busy or just the best time for you.
Well... I am trying the place out for a month. I have 10 days to recruit some peeps. If I can not get others to join with me, I problably will not-it is just too expensive for me right now with me going to school and all. I REALLY want to though.
My mom/sister work out at curves. I do not like the thought of having to the same stuff every time I go.
bring your mom/sister and yourself over to amy's(fit chicks) place at 28750 Utica, just South of 12 Mile Rd.
she will give all three of you a deal, throw in some personal training
if they have a few months or so left on their curves memberships she can give free months to match whats left on the curves *(to a limit of course)
at least come by and check out the classes and place, you can come for a week for free
I currently have 3 gym memberships
I have been at the ballys on 9 and Harper since 1987, that place is a hole, sweaty and dirty and decor very outdated, the ballys on 8 Mile near Hoover is newer and has better equipment and more open, but it is EASTSIDE DETROIT, although I've never had a problem there, cause I'm down with the crown........
I have a World Gym on 15 and Groesbeck since 1992, just too far now for me, my payment is dirt cheap there, $12 a month, so I've been lazy to go over there to cancel it
I just joined at World Gym on 10 and Harper, decent place but the equipment can get crowded cause they do have a lot of members at the busy time - average price - BONUS - paulines a member there!!!!
watch out for ballys, they have very long and complicated memberships and they will try everything to suck you in for many many years with no chance of getting out of the contract
