Happy b-day! Now are you going to respond to my email or are you senial already? Just kidding.
Happy Birthday Dave!

(Misras - that's funny! Almost as funny as senial!)

How ollllddddd are you? (I know you're older than me.

I can't get away with anything....
so as old as you are are you going to be able to keep up this year or will we have to send someone with you out in the lake so you don't get lost or forget where you are so you can find your way back to the launch. You know the first thing to go when you get your age is the memory. Happy B-Day

See ya

Dear LSCN compatriots,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys. I was about to respond last night after W's SOTU address but my Comcast internet service went down on me as I was getting ready to respond. ( I just know Dobson had something to do with it!) I have to get out of here and go to work so I don't have time now, but be assured that I will respond to all of your good natured barbs as time allows: individually, with barbs of my own.

Ah -- payback!

Stay tuned.

Dave
O.K. - I have time for one.

Let's start with Brian B.

Brian, surely the wisdom acquired through this advanced stage of maturity is an advantage. At least I know where to go to catch bass on our dear Lake St. Clair to when I do find it. As for finding the launch, I usually have plenty of time to look for it before the end of a tournament. Plus, the knowledge that I'll usually have a much heavier sack than you is incentive enough to get there on time. It's always a joy to see that look on your face at the weigh in.

.

Remember, with age comes wisdom, patience and the ability to find the shift key on the keyboard.

Keep the faith. Your learning.

Regards,

Dave (the "Old Guy")

P.S. When are you going to respond to my email? Did you forget? Your not getting OLD are you? By the way. I thought memory was the second thing to go. ( I forget what the first one is!)

Thanks Dave.

Nice to see some respect for us old guys. I bet MuskieBob likes you too.

Dave
Dear Mr (Kimmle),

I tried to respond to you in a Kimmel-esqe type manner but the post was too long and the server rejected it. I'll keep this attempt more compact.

With all of the wisdom and advice you have put out over this board I figure that YOU must be older than me! I think you're just using genetics to your best advantage. Everyone knows that red-haired guys show their gray much later in life. I'm sure you probably still have some of those old bone hooks in your tackle box that you used to use in the old days. Did you braid your own line back then?

Regards,

Dave

Alex,

I finally found that email you sent me. Regarding the tournaments I really need to ....uh... what were we talking about?

Dave
Cameraguy,

Bob was right about you!

And no, I prefer the REAL rubber pants and some gardening twine.
