Our ten year anniversary is coming up and i'm stumped as to what to get my wife (chantel).
Money's very tight since she was laid off and decided to stay home with the kids, so she said "lets not spend money for our anniversary, lets just go out to eat and catch a move".
But, I still wanna get her something. She has a ton of perfume and has said before that she doesn't want any more jewelry.

Are you sure she doesn't read this board?
lol, positive, i cant get her on line to save her life. i tell her to get on during the day and pm me in icq or msn, and she said she always says she's got too much to do. and its just not her thang.

Yeah, but if he wants complete surprise, she'll have ideas at least.
QUOTE(pirlgirl @ Aug 1 2003, 12:57 PM)Sounds like she wants a "just the two of you kinda evening"....why not step it up to an overniter somewhere sweet.
thought of that and looked into it, but money is too tight for a decent hotel. BUT, we are having gramma take the kids for the night
so at least we can have the house to ourselves at night.

oooooooooh, i'm liking that one. i just remembered, someone i work with has someone come to their house to give massages. i could have the masseuse come by unexpectedly. this one may be a keeper!!
$30 to a sitter for the evening
$30 for filets, side dish, dessert
$20 in flowers spread around the house
$5 for a sweet card
$15 for some massage oil from lovers lane

What she said....Depending on the salon you can get gift certificate for a package or "day at the spa". I don't know where you live, but on Dodge Park and 15 Mile Road there is a place called Salon Elizabeth. Wonderful Place! If it is convenient call them up and ask what kind of packages they have, I don't remember, but I know they have them!

Anywho, how about just a big bouquet of flowers?
Oh come on!
Really original!
Why don't you tell him to give her what you gave me for our 1st anniversary! Nothing!!!!!
By the way the smilies in my signature are me and Snowmaker....I'm riding the bike!
Cook the dinner for her, you give her the massage, the best presents women like are the ones that come from you, also use creative things, get out some xmas lite strings and spell "I Love You" on a fence, in script of course, turn it on at night as a surprize, and things like that. Low money for this kind of thing
