i have just started to fish quite a bit lately for perch, pickerel and bass, and im new to the sport (and im loving it), but i really want to catch a muskey...i really have no idea what i should do.....i have a nice size trolling rod but not really sure how to troll for muskey.... could anyone give me any tips such as what kind of lure exactly, how fast i should troll, how deep the water should be etc. i thought maybe someone could give some good advice because im seeing a lot of pics of nice giant muskies....

I can't offer much help for trolling, I'm a caster myself. I'm sure some of the guys who troll will have some good info for you.
In the meantime check some of Troller11's posts, he da man lately

If you only have one rod I would troll in the wash, use a good bucktail, 6'-10' back, and 3-4 mph. But I am by no means a muskie guy

I agree troller11 has been the man lately!
The only advice would be to troll the edges of the weedbeds and run about 2.5 - 4mph.But I'm a caster & soon to be experimenting with trolling so take my .02cents for what it's worth
