hi all im just about ready to put her in for season. last year i noticed 1 exhaust riser was way hotter then the other. temp. ga. is at 180 cruising 160 idel. is this to warm. any way to back flush exhaust without water entering engine? boat runs o.k. at 180 deg. but wonder if thats to hot/ thanx t.n.t

I would definatly check with a Merc dealer. I have heard that some engines dump more water into one side more than the other just because of the cooling setup. No way around it. I would find out if your engine size/model is one of those. Those temps sound ok though.
