well, i have to take a timeout from the kitchen because i just set off my smoke detector burning the bacon for the 'blt bites' appetizers i'm making, and when the cats heard the noise from the smoke detector (which i don't know why it went off since i knocked it off the ceiling the last time it went off), they freaked out and knocked a bunch of stuff off my coffee table, including a burning candle and a glass of soda. then, as i opened my doorwall to let the smoke out i pulled down the christmas lights i have hanging there.

then as i hung up the phone after telling of my rediculous plight, i tripped on my shoes still in the middle of the floor from last night, and knocked the green onions i was chopping all over the place.

glad i'm not responsible for the whole dinner! could you imagine what a debacle that would be!

Mayhem in my house as well:

My brother and sister are here and I jumped in the shower and Michelle was going to make some Ramen noodles...

I'm in the shower and I hear a crash and like 30 seconds later my brother says "Are you OK?"

I enter the kitchen with my towel head and towel body to find this scene:

First of all, my upstairs is under construction and so is my kitchen... so I have 10 sheets of sheet rock for tiling in the kitchen, paint on the floor, plumbing stuff, etc...

Well, my sister had tried to hold the (10) sheets of sheetrock away from the counter to get a spoon. And they were too heavy and they fell on her and scraped along my refrigerator and cupboards on the way down to landing on her and the paint cans gushing all of the paint out of the can onto her and the cupboards and the carpeting...

She is upset and crying...

trying to tell her don't worry about. Our whole family is just clutzy.

The kitchen~hopefully insurance will cover it

And I am laughing bc nobody got hurt and the visual was PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

WOW!! Pauline, thats terrible. That sheetrock is heavy stuff. Hope everyone is ok. When I did my tile I had that stuff all over for months.

Mom and brother just stopped by on the way home to pick up Michelle's pants that were soaking in the washer; I was showing my mom what happened and they fell on me pinning me against the cupboard...

have scraped up right boob, arm and cuts on another arm.

but here is a pic of her this morning: (ps, I guess she was laying there and Tom didn't know what was going on and she said "Can somebody give me a hand please?")
