I also found school of perch about 3/4 to 1 mile strait out from 9 mile tower in 12 to 14 fow. Fished from 3 - 5 p.m. tues driftin with #4 hook perch color spinner with orange stripe and glitter on it. Stayed busy the hole time with 1 pole 1 hook. There were alot of small perch but still brought home 12 around 10 to 12in. Good place to fish with a quick escape to dock with all these storm no storm warnings. OH Iwas using crawlers and think glitter was the trick.

We found those perch on sunday at around 1030am. it was our last move of the day, no fish to show before this, and we ended up with 20 perch of all sizes. about half were 10-12". caught the larger ones on a small white/pearl crawler harness, and the smaller ones came off minnows and a split shot. We started at the st clair light, then moved to the dumps, then in front of the GPYC, then ended up about the same spot jimidee said. I guess its worth moving all over the place!

we were about a 1/4 mile from the channell markers.....hit the perch about 11:00-1:30 they were still bitting when we left ! That area has been a good spot for a couple of weeks for us now!...You just need to make some small moves around till you hit them!
