Back in the 1970's those ponds were used for walleyes released into Lake St. Clair. For many years it was the main project of the Lake St. Clair Advisory Committee when Ray Trombley was in charge. For "plankton" they were fed mash from Stroh's. Shows how much things have changed if the lake is so 'nutrient' they don't have to be fed, the LSCAC is now anti - bass tournament, and Stroh's is gone.
