Het A m if I were going after eyes now with jigs I'd use a 1/4 or 3/8 and I would use minnows and lip hook them upside down so they have to fight to get upright and hang on to the rod. Smallies, Pike, and Muskie also love minnows presented this way. Good Luck. Bob

Tried jigging around Harsenes in the channels no luck, I've been catching a few wallies by drifting with bottom bouncers with night crawler harnesess that have a float as one of the beads, colors have been red with hammered brass spoon ,white w/white pink spoon silver back and red w/ silver spoon. I've only been fishing in the evenings 5:00 till dark along the freighter channel north and south of the st clair light and about 150 to 200 yards west of channel, also try grassy island. Remember to change weight size acorrding to wind or trolling speeds. Good luck!!!
