For those of you who are going to participate in this year's Jobbie Nooner need to be careful. I heard through the grape vine that BUI will be enforced. If you are getting boarded remember they are doing their jobs to make the lakes safer. Be courteous and don't get belligerent. If you are going to be consuming any alcohol, make sure you have a sober operator on board to get you home safely. Good boating out there. P.S Remember the rules of the road.
So far the radio is pretty quiet. CG is conducting a search pattern for something right now. What it is for I am not sure yet, but recreational channels are pretty quiet. Strange. In past years I would have heard people yelling into the mic as the motors are running in the back round. Oh, wait a minute...... there is someone calling for Mucho, and......yes. I hear a motor running in the backround. We have a winner!
I was chatting with a marine patrol officer this morning while grabbing my coffee. Said they are trying some new techniques today and it's going to be a busy shift.
South River Road was a hot mess this morning as I was leaving for work.... punk kids with jalopy boats, one blew a tire and they were driving on it regardless, last ditch effort to make it to the launch for JN1 09.
Got to 16 & Jefferson, the Valero there ($2.49 btw for 87 octane) was pretty busy with boats filling up.

I drove from Beacon to Pontiac this morning for work around 6:30 and it was truck after truck pulling boats...I couldnt believe how many boats I saw headed down 59. At one point I saw a caravan of about 10 large, very nice looking go fast boats...

Between 16 & South River off Jefferson
Accross the street from my Cuz! I recognize your boat in the driveway, they're having a 2nd b-day party tomorrow over there, family chaos will be in full effect.

I will tow my boat there to gas up too. That is .10c cheaper than what I have seen so far.
Bring it by Eric. We can hit the water after firework shopping
