Been a Jobbie for 22 years or so.
Was around when the original PRODUCT DRAFTSMEN......Lee O'dell & Lee Wagner
started this. Everybody else will lay claim to it including the Toolies....Ha Ha. It was
a Friday in June to celebrate one of the Lee's Birthdays on the lake at lunch and not come
back to work. Didn't call the boss or anything....just didn't come back. That's a TRUE
NOONER!!!!! Also it was held in Fisher bay.....low water brought it to Gull Island.
A Graphic Artist with the signature of "Jem" use to do the original
flyer that would be posted around town. The coming of the information age(fax & internet)
changed it's original intention probably forever.
Anyways this Jobbie will not be there!!! Its a day for amateurs. I went two years ago when
XO was new and avoided damage only by luck, To many crazy drunks!!! Would love to
take a "Hoopie Boat" to the Island for the Party and then just burn it at the end.....Ha Ha....no
