It's all changing at the North Pole. The sleigh is tricked out with platinum rims, silver and gold detailing, hydraulics, and a boomin' bass system. That's because this year, Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves are off to Detroit for Christmas - Kid Rock style.

VH1's "A Kid Rock Christmas," premiering Sunday, December 14 at 9 PM ET/PT, takes the incomparable Kid Rock style - loud, funky, down-home, and "macked-out" - to mix up a truly unique holiday special in the tradition of the classic Bing Crosby Christmas programs.

Originally filmed at the Emerald Theater on November 4, "A Kid Rock Christmas" includes performances by The Pussycat Dolls, headlined by Carmen Electra and Robin Antin, with a special appearance by Uncle Kracker.

Highlights of the special include:

"Mama Rock" cooking Christmas dinner Detroit style for Kid and friends LeAnn Rimes, Jesse James, Hank Williams, Jr. Drea DeMatteo, and Shooter Jennings.
The 12 Days of Christmas get "rocked" in an animated short with a cartoon Kid Rock doing his own version of the Christmas classic carol.
A jingled-jamming concert with Kid Rock and The Pussycat Dolls.

He and LeeAnn sounded great together. It's all about the music.

Must be cool to cook a turkey with Hank Jr. himself......dang.

I found a pink Elmer Fudd hat in a magazine that I'm just dying to buy....

Where was Uncle Kracker?

His 12 days of Christmas was pretty cool - and the Bob Seger, and the J. Geils, and singing about St. Clair Shores and Winners on Harper in Devil w/out a Cause - it's all just very very cool and how can we all not totally relate???
