heading to bro in laws place on lake charleviox. Looking to do some type of fishing where we catch fish. He has a nice boat, but no downriggers(i talking him into some). I have all the rest of stuff-wire dipsey-dipsey-side planers-enoguht tackle to fish for anything and anything else, but no downriggers. We could try the big lake, or charleviox(heard good for walleye and smallies).

any info
wether its for salmon/trout or walleye would be greatly appreciated

point me in some direction-never been to this area and bro in law just boguht it and he is more clueless than me

a website with info?

Fife,

Check in with Boyne City Bait on Lake Street. They'll help you.

The south end of the south arm and the northwest and southeast reaches of the main lake have the shallows: walleye, perch, and some bass. The deep stuff in between is for trolling for lakers, mostly.

Big water, obviously, with a share of PWCs. But you'll find places to fish, I'm sure.

Mike
