Fished this morning from 7:30am to 1:30 pm out of Harley Ensign. Started off Gino`s trolling harnesses and bb`s with Gulp crawlers with inline boards. Much of the lake was filthy with the color of chocolate milk. Found a strech of clearer water in 7 to 9 fow off Gino`s but couldn`t get a rip. Water temp was 62 degrees. After an hour of trolling decided to try Anchor Bay. Started off the barracks off Selfridge ANG in water that was much clearer and from 4 to 6 feet deep. Caught 1 nothern at 27 inches and several smallmouth to 4 lbs casting Mepps #3`s in rainbow color. Water temp there was 68. Ended up between the Salt River and Selfridge where the water was also very turbid. The southerly breeze didn`t help either and nothing was bagged there. Temp there too was 68. The lake needs to settle a bit.
