One night several years back I was spending the night with the wife and kids in Fisher Bay with a 30' Triple Cabin Cruiser. We were all layed down for the night after midnight when I heard a boat going in the distance. I thought to myself, "must be a local cause he is running some shallow water pretty fast at night".
So I hear... whaaa whaaaa whaaaa whaaa whop.... dead silence. I laugh to myself and fall asleep.
30 minutes or so later I hear; "HELLO... ANYBODY IN THERE." My wife goes thru the roof in panic. I get her relaxed and go outside to see two guys standing chest deep in the water at the stern of the boat. They ran aground hard and needed a ride to Deckers area to get help. To make a long story short it became a long night, but one I will never forget.
Saw that on Monday, also saw three other boats throughout the day all being towed in. Didn't have any luck fishing, but felt real good about not being beached or towed!!
