Going to Vegas with wife, her sister and hubby last part of march/first part of Feb. We are not big gamblers but love the place. Went a few years back, stayed at New York New York, had a great time. Any suggestions for hotels? deals? good shows?

Bobb,

You came to the right place for information on Vegas. I just booked my fifth trip this year for November.

What do you like to do?

Carnival Court Haraha's is fun during the day at that time of year.
Blue man group is and awesome show.
Dr. Naughty also is funny. www.drnaughty.com

Let me know what you are interested in and I will see if I can come back with more information.

i LOVE vegas... treasure island is launching a new show called 'sirens'. it's chick buccaneers vs the men buccaneers. they're also launching a revamp of their image and calling themselves 'TI'. i'd check that out.
i believe i will be in vegas in early march for the nc&b convention!

Check out the Hard Rock Cafe around midnight. It's off the beaten path, but worth the trip. LA's young and hip party there. Worth seeing even if you're over 30.

We stayed at Mandalay Bay last time, it's kind of far down the strip, but a nice property. We also liked Monte Carlo.

Check out funjet.com for package deals.

I'd say make sure you make it over to the Ghost Bar @ tha Palms at night....the view is awesome. If Ghost bar is to packed (It's one of the hottest places in town right now) head over to the Vodoo Lounge @ the Rio...Almost the same view but not quite as hip in my eyes.

MGM Grand has the better paying slots, plus lots of goodies, and a theme park. Excalibur is cool, also good paying slots, Caesar' s slots dont pay much, but a great time at the craps tables. Check out a lounge show, they are way cool. And the Luxor, is a blast, not good slot play but fun to see, take the Nile river tour.

I haven't been to the Ghost Bar, but the view from the Voodoo Lounge is great. The sky ride (free show in the casino/shop area) looks fun.

I'm on Rerun's team. The Ghost Bar is the place. I was there about two weeks ago. Rain is also cool (at the Palms), as is Ra at the Luxor.

If you want to get out and about, the Dam is well worth the hour drive.
