Looking for boat rentals....

OK, I'm in desperate need of a new boat rental place. For the past 12 years, me and my family have always gone fishing at Harsen's Island at the North part of the lake, getting our boat and motor rentals from a place called Minnichs. Due to the dropping water level, it's going to be hard to get to any of our good fishing spots. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any boat rentals. I live in Warren, MI (just north of detroit) and it doesn't matter if it's the north or south part of the lake, but perferably north. Thanks guys!

There are a few places I go because I am boatless too. I usually go to Schramms on the North Channel. It is right at the end of Anchor Bay Drive next to Deckers. $50 per boat & you can have it all day. There is also a place on the Clinton River. Roy's Boat Harbor is on the river side about a 1/4 mile west of the DNR Launch. I think they let you have the boat for 8 hours for $40. Then there is Jimmy's on Jefferson North of Crocker. I know that Jimmy unfortunately died last week but I do know that they rent boats. Search the yellow pages on the Internet for Boat Rentals, it will list a few for you.

Hope This Helps,
I just wanted to let everyone know that Jimmy's is still open. My sister is now running the place (she was Jimmy's wife) and we're trying to get things going again. We are starting to take reservations now if anyone is interested please call: 586-468-6000. Looking forward to a great summer!!
